Parents, Fans and Visitors,
Our athletic program has been blessed with a rich heritage of excellence both on and off the field for well over 100 years. Whether in the academic classroom, on the athletic field, or the military parade field, we know that our Bulldogs and LadyDogs will represent their team, their school and their families in an exceptional manner. Character development is one of the most important aspects of GMC. We believe that the athletic field is one of the best areas for this development. It is on the field that athletes learn valuable lessons of life. They learn how to win with humility and how to lose with honor. They learn that if one gives all he is a winner, regardless of a win or loss. Athletes are taught that nothing important comes easy; the important things take the most work. Virtues of hard work, dedication, integrity and sportsmanship are outcomes of each game and each season. Our promise here at GMC is that we will continue to try and improve all areas of our athletic program. We will continue to hire coaches that are not only there for themselves and their egos, but are there for the players. We will continue to stress hard work, dedication to one’s team, and dedication to one’s own honor. We will continue to improve our venues so that each athlete may be proud of where they play. We will continue to do all of this so that we may be one of the elite programs in the state of Georgia for years to come. Garry Couch |
